Asylum Aid provides free legal advice and representation for those seeking asylum. Call 0207 354 9264.


Asylum Support Appeals Project (ASAP) provides free legal representation and information to asylum seekers on asylum support. Call 0203 716 0283.


Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) provides legal advice and information on immigration law.

Sexual violence support around the criminal justice process

The Survivors Trust provides advice and can link you in with an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA). An ISVA is trained to help you understand how the criminal justice process works, and will explain things to you, such as what will happen if you report to the police, and the process of forensic DNA retrieval. An ISVA is there to provide you with information only so that you can make the right decision for you. By contacting them, you are not expected to report any offence to the police.

Latin American Women's Right's Service is a user-led, feminist and human rights organisation focused on addressing the practical and strategic needs of Latin American migrant women displaced by poverty and violence.

Iranian and Kurdish Women's Rights Organisation (IKWRO) provides culturally specific support, advocacy and counselling for women from the Middle East and Afghanistan in communities in the UK.
